Okay so I got this tube mixer that is just old and funkay!

But I am going to put it in a new rack sized chassis and will mod it, but Im wonderinf where I can find info on it..

Its not all origional or anything like that..so value is just the sum of its parts..but maybe one of you out there have a better clue than me. :)

That "sum of the parts" thing is dismissive. Those knobs alone are valuable. Does it have in/out trannies? What's the tube complement? This could be a goldmine of vintage audio goodness. Or it could just be old.

Please, more and better pic's.

No input or output trannies.

9 x RCA usa 7025's

10 inputs, mono out

5 channels have simple treble / bass controls, but they dont look like baxandall. The other 5 just have a volume

Ill get more piccies later today. :)

It does need some caps and a good cleaning.

Jensen trannies are too expensive, but If I added tranformers..I could go the cheapo xicon/mouser route maybe.

Im thinking of making individual outs. My sound card has multiple ins, plus I have an 8 channel a/d converter.

Might even ebay for some vu meters and make my own panel.

that would be killer for doing an old school drum sub. probably sound great for garage rock type blues or punk rock stuff. not to mention some motown type drums.

Well I havent found a schematic for it. But After finding the radiotron designers handbook and a few other gems...I think I know what to do.

IM going to test a channel with feedback tone controls and see what I get. Tapco mixers were like that, but they were ss.
