I think the pad marked OUT is actually the footswitch connection, other switch's pin should go to GND.

Here the schematic of the switching circuit with the 4066 IC in functional view.
Edit: The circuit diagram was incorrect and had to be corrected.

Unfortunately, I don't have the pot. Was thinking it might be 500k but not certain.
Thank you, your guess is right.
According to my calculations, the potentiometer must have a value of 500 Kiloohms for a threshold range from -70dBV to +10dbV.

So, to make certain I understand, you are talking about the one that connects to pin 5 of the CD4066BCN? Thanks.

Yes, if you connect the pad connected to 4066's pin 5 to GND, via one (foot)switch, you will force the effect to be always on.
