Cornell - Fuzzface

Hello!
Cornell Fuzzface is based old Fuzzface.
resistors value is changed.
And a trim pot is added, but it is unknown which part you control.
Will the trim pot be 10k?
Volume Pot is 470kB.
Will Fuzz Volume be 1k?
I ask for a lot of information.

If we have a couple more pictures, we will be able to find what the trim controls. I can now see one leg of trim connects to Base of one transistor.... but where does other leg connect? It is likely to be a bias control for trimming different transistor characteristics.
I non-polar 1uF mylar cap sounds better than a polarized electrolytic for the input cap. I did this switch on my Dunlop Fuzz Face and there was immediate improvement in the "feel".

It seems to surely lead to the base of the transistor.
Trimmer are built more, and the board will agree.

The trimmer connects between the Collector and Base. It must be to trim bias.

I have seen different versions of the Cornell FuzzFace, they seem to be all the time different.
Concerning this version:
It seems to be the latest version and "orientated" much on the
Roger Mayer - Classic Fuzz schematic
The Fuzz-Poti is definitely a 2k2 linear, I have seen photos where the Volume poti was 100k log (only). With a coupling capacitor of 150nF this would make sense... mabe the poti is even less - 50k ?

The Cornish FF is a clone of the RM-modded FF with NOS NKT275 trannies and slightly altered part values. Maybe he also built some altered FF clones on custom demand.
All in all, nothing special and as far as I know discontinued (to many cheaper and identical stuff from the competitors?)

This is from ebay auction, adding for data record
Amp designer and electronics genius Dennis Cornell was working for Arbiter in the UK back in the 60's when they started working on a design for a guitar distortion device. Dennis's input would be instrumental in what we now know as the 'Fuzz Face'.
5 years ago Dennis did a limited run of 200 Fuzz Face using NOS Germanium NKT275 transistors, just like the original, but he has personally matched each set to perfection. With its classic Fuzz Face enclosure the only way you're going to get closer to an original is to drop L800 on a 60's version IF you can find one, then you'd better hope it sounds ok, as so many don't.
If classic germanium fuzz is your thing, well, it just doesn't get better than this.
