Good one, Thanks.
The rectifier circuit has some quirks, I wonder what the motivation behind that is (need to look at it in more detail).
I haven't actually played through one of these. What's it like compared to a Meatball?

I never played with meatball. The sound of this envelope is good for bass, but schematics is with a lot of elements

As a bassist I can say this a good envelope filter, and I must say I'm not a big fan of Ashdown... When it comes to amps and cabs. But this is something I've listened and really liked. For envelope filters, I would chose in order of preference, 3Leafe Groove Regulator, EBS Bass IQ, DOD FX 25 and HelectroHarmonix bass balls. This last one is very easy to mod!
Regards

I would imagine that they wanted to have a product with as little of the same tired old ripple in the sweep circuit!

Not finished..I have to clean and connect some traces, and make some larger obviously,
I should have that done today or when I get back from a quick weekend gig.

I just purchased one of these off of Reverb, but have to come up with a power supply for it (shouldn't be too hard, 9V center-negative). Meanwhile, I added all of the component values to the schematic PDF. They're "comments", so you can edit or move them. chicago_mike, did you ever finish your board layout?
