Midi switching??

wanna make 3 channel preamp, and got problem with momentary switch.
any one have info to make one?

which one should i choose Micro-controller (midi) or relay? :cry:

I do not know enough about relay switching... The only stuff I really understand is there (french, sorry) http://www.sonelec-musique.com/electron ... s_001.html

And i'm definitely not familiar with MIDI...

You have to ask the question differently. Because the µC (being it as a MIDI controller or not) is only there to control the relays or switches that are to be used. But it never gets in touch with any audio signal. So instead of the controller you could build up some logic using some good old flip flops or latches.

For the actual audio switches: instead of the relays you might use FETs or opto couplers.

cause dip-switches more simple than i using micro-controller. :D
