Yo

I love the 24 gauge pre tinned or bonded stranded wire they sell at pedal parts plus: http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/mm5/merch ... y_Code=WIR
But I prefer 22 gauge wire. Anyone know where to find this same stuff in 22 gauge?

doesn't stew mac supply that? I think that's where I got my last spindle.
I have all the parts on the board populated... so all the real work is done... now I just have to get it working.

they've got all sorts of stuff there that needs to be unearthed. i think next time i'm going to try and see if i'm real nice, maybe they'll let me rummage around in the back room. i can't guarantee it's going to be any time soon, but i'll let you know.

Yo

I noticed Mouser carrier Belden wire. I narrowed down my search to 22 gauge, singe conductor, went with black to simplify the search and ended up on this page: http://www.mouser.com/catalog/637/1054.pdf
It describes the wire as being " tinned copper" but I'm not sure if that's the same as "pre bonded" like the Pedal Parts Plus stuff where you don't have to twist and tin the stranded ends. Anyone have any experience with the stuff? If I could order a couple feet I'd just go for it but you have to get small reels at $30...

Found some at this site. http://www.bulkwire.com/ Haven't ordered any yet but plan to soon. Pretty good prices. I can't stand the Small Bear 24 gauge. I find it a pain in the ass to work with because it's so thin.

We buy all our wire from this place
http://squires.com/

They are about a 30 minute drive from our shop, and are really helpful. I think they have a 1000ft min per spool though.
We usually order it pre-cut and stripped, so i dont have any half spools laying around of 22 guage.

Maybe if a few of you got together you could order a few spools of different colors and split it up between each person.
