Just noticed the LFO section of the "little" project looks nearly identical to Moosapotamus's LFO work, any connection?.

Don't want to speak for the guy, but I know that when I first set out looking for this project years ago that he had a link for the voodoo vibe project but only had the lfo schem from the circuit....it's been sitting on my hard drive for a bit now. Still waiting to order the vactrols to build this. Can't wait!

That was actually someone else's work from a number of years ago (name escapes me atm). They sent it to me with permission to post and, afaik, it is the very same circuit being discussed here.

I was inspired by that old LFO layout on moosapotamus and, looking into the original RMvoodoo-v ,i correct it and added the power supply section and the audio section! Many thanks to you and the friend that has make possible to start this project!

I found 2 pin-for-pin replacements for the ICL8038:
XR8038
NTE864

But I haven't had any luck sourcing those either (for a decent price, that is).

I found this as well:
http://www.oselectronics.com/ose_p81.htm
They have it for $7.95.

I also found a different one: XR2206, though it's not a direct replacement.
If it's more readily available, it may be worth redesigning the LFO section around it.

Does Anyone have the zip file with Single Sided Kaputepalla's PCB, schematic and materials list? The link gives only the double sided PCB of the original Voodoo Vibe. I would appreciate that. Thanks.

And (if it's not too much to ask) something that's not posted through rapidshare. It only allows a certain size ofthe file to be downloaded by free user, and the current package is larger than that...

Hi Baja, thanks for your patience. I mainly need a schematic to check the rotary switches wiring and a couple of other things (Ac, Av, At, Bc, Bv, Bt pads) i can't understand to what they refer to and how i have to wire the external pedal jacks. the original zip file contains also a bill of materials? Thanks a lot Baja!
