its always interesting that people still associate the 6v6/6l6 and el34/el84 which his how it was intended but interestingly enough when driven hard the 6v6 sound really close to the el34 they tend to break up very similar. this based off sound on sound comparison. there is a gentleman on the web who has some osciliscope pic's where he measured it but alas i dont' have that link.
my own discovery was made building a 5e3 with a few parts that were just a little out of tolerance 270k instead of 220k and 12at7 instead of 12ay7 gave me a mean VH tone with a humbucking fender that was lying around the shop.

Does anyone know the specific differences between the tiny terror and the tiny terror "hard wired" (aka the boutique version). The specs are slightly different but i cant find any info on what the different values are. I think it's the power filtering mostly, but dont really know.
Also, if anyone wants to rehost the schematic/layout that were here originally, i'd be grateful.

You can still download them from the rapidshare link.

Just be careful,
Tiny_Terror_Layout_v.1.11.jpg is buggy, more
here. T.

Using the schematic for the standard version and the published gut-shot of the hand-wired version, I tried mapping out the differences in filtering stage and this is what i've got so far. The red are my annotations for changed values:
I still cant see the value on the 4th filter cap, or the value of the resistor across cap one....

got to have that choke - old skool me

Care to draw up a schematic?

I have and love the TT. Does anyone know what the Jule Mod contains? the price seems awfully high for the little info you get on the site:

It was lightly discussed
here.
You can download the
video and go frame-by-frame (e.g. in Media Player Classic, pause and use L/R arrows) thru speeded up mod part, you can see roughly what is going on there (he adds choke, some filtering caps, ..).
Good luck, T.

Thanks for the reply! As I am no electronics miracleworker your post tells me more then stop-motioning the vid. Thanks for the link to the other topic, it is interesting reading.
Cheers.
