A possibility would be a relay controlled True Bypass. I have made test way to a BD 2.

probably something similar or the same as in DD5 - bypass is done in digital domain, that is, in bypass mode DSP/uC spits no signal to DAC.alsercol wrote:There is no FETs on DD-3. Switching of DD-3 is different than other BOSS pedals.
The only one solution i see here would be some additional circuit that checks if the Check LED is on, when not - it should simulate a click on the bypass switch. The LED signal is only one point where we can easily check if delay is on or off.
just speculating, a haven't seen the component side of the new DD3 pcb...
