yes, the RNC will absolutely KILL any garbage pedal comp out there. and you can find them for less than most comp pedals as well. just use a looper and stick it off to the side of your board- that would be a simple solution.soulsonic wrote:Dude, that's totally what I thought. I had this idea a few months back about designing a sort of "wrapper" pedal that would be an adapter that turns the FMR Really Nice Compressor into a compressor pedal for guitar (because it's just about the best compressor on the planet under $2K!). It would be easy to make a universal wrapper that you could use with any number of different small size processors, like the Alesis Pico and Nano series.... though, I would probably cry if I ever saw someone using a NanoCompressor with it because those things are garbage and the idea is you're supposed to use the RNC!
