clock section is capable of modulation(so chorus is optional :hmmm: ).........it would be nice to convert it for use with mn3005 (like in deluxe memory man) ...and mn3007........ :block:

Man, there seem to be some explanations about this SAD1024, but it's too bad I can't read it... Did you try and build one?

no, I did not try to build one, but it looks interesting..........
....I do not know about those resistors.... :scratch:
'...if I am not wrong, r8 and T1 are virtual ground similar to IC1b network(R20,R21)....

G and H are stereo inputs,
P1 ...regeneration
P2...depth
P3....speed(of modulation lfo)
P4....intensity
P5.....delay time
E and F are outputs........

I would like to make one, but do not have any sad1024-s around :block: rest of it is easy.......that is why I am interested inhow to conwert it to MN3007 BBD :thumbsup

Conversion to MN3207 is simpler.

I haven't seen this "SAM" publications since 198x. :D It's like back to the future(past) nostalgia.

why drawings (I'm a lazy fck ;) ), compare datasheets. The SAD1024 and MN3207 are both negative ground chips, the 3007 is not.

Then,
- Bring down the supply voltage in the BBD to 9 volts
- cut out the 2nd section of the SAD. The 3207 is 1024 steps already, the SAD is a double 512 steps.
- make the vgg supply by adding a diode (0.7 volts drop) in series to the 9 volts supply
- Use that 9 volts supply for IC5 too (so the clock pp voltage is 9 volts too)

So now you draw up a schematic, mail it to me and I'll make corrections (if needed) ;)
