Stranded wire or single core?

I like solid core. Its more rigid and tends to do a good job of holding stuff in place on it's own.

If it's a pedal for me, I like solid core 'cause you don't have to tin the ends and it stays put. If there's a chance someone else will use the pedal, stranded is more likely to hold up under abuse.
