Hi,

It's a cool fuzz sound, some settings reminded me the Companion fuzz I made . The tone control (cut+swell) is interesting , allow different tone possibilities.

Better than DBA stuff in my opion (even if I didn't really play with their products), that one is really more useable than DBA's noise box.

I tried with zener diodes (bat85) but they cut too much volume (I didn't put the gain stage at the end).

That's not to play Pink floyd , but for dirty punk that's perfect !

yeah, if i was to draw up another schematic, i would leave out the diode switch and just stick to LED's. also, i would try raising the value of the emitter resistor on Q3 to maybe 1K-2K2. there will still be plenty of volume, and less noise. it might change the character of the tone a bit though, as that final Ge tranny isn't getting driven as hard. i'll have to experiment some more.
