Can anyone shed any light on this pedal. I'm sure I've seen this posted here or on the net somewhere but, I managed to find gut shots. (If there is any info on this pedal already, please don't shoot me down and tell me to use the SEARCH button. See what happens when you type "The Fuzz" and Search). Joke.

Forgot to mention that I have seen in Japanes blogs etc that it is linked to LocoBox as it says KUROSAWA on the pcb.

Ahhh....... I think you want to destroy my eyesight with this blurred pictures.

Anyway, here are the results of the austrian jury:

I doubt, that it really has to do with the Locobox-stuff. The pcb-layout is completely different. At least it appears to have been made in the mid 80´s. A final judgement can only be made after I have seen addidtional photos.

The circuit itself contains a Univox/Shinei/Ibanez "Superfuzz"-distortion-engine. One half of the opamp is used for the phase splitter, the other half for additional gain.

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

I read the same blogs about the link with Locobox and the box looks similar. I should open a few pedals from both Loco Box series to know if the layout is different :D

I have a page about it (with a picture from a Japanese site), but no info :D

I'll add some of these pictures too, I hope that's ok?

Thanks heaps for the replies. This pedal might sound terrible but, I'm really curious about it.

Cheers.
