Since you seemed to like the last book, I have two other out of print books I have come across getting around the internet. Ifound both of these on the "freebookspot" website, the first an Indian one is at http://rapidshare.com/files/158909807/E ... ._Sood.rar and the second is the better known Anderton book, which is at http://rapidshare.com/files/85181520/C5 ... 3899C1.rar and they may require a password to extract the rar archive (a more efficient form of file compression - you can open these with the free utility "7 Zip".
wouldn't that sound better with a harpsichord and a phaser on it?

Thanks but the second file can't be opened with 7 zip! If you know the password(s) please type it(them) here!

Can so be opened with 7zip! "the password is actually (sorry forgot and abbreviated it without thinking) "www.freebookspot.com". I'm sure it was really a good idea to make their web address their password! 7zip will freeze if you don't use the ocon to extract but try to do it via drag and drop.

it's not what you would normally consider a phaser, but a way to adjust phase.

I was surprised too, but in fact it's a "single-transistor phaser-stage". Without LFO too.
It's a kind of simplified Univibe phase stage. http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/u ... frindx.htm
You need at least two of these (and mix it with the dry signal) to create notch(es) in the frequency response.
I only give negative feedback.

I just put stuff up that I find you know, so I don't really know for sure. I think the guy is just kind of putting forward an idea. I think myself its realy what you'd call a notch filter kind of, which would give the sort of a sound of a phaser without the movement associated. It's a long time since I really experimented with electronics but you have to wonder of you could use it say to creat an effect that involved a few of these chained like a chaser disco light, and perhaps make it either sensitive so that it adjust to the beat of the music or could be hand adjusted. On the other hand I suppose you could try something entirely new and wire them in with other effects so you get say blast of fuzz, blast of phase, blast of fuzz etc...
