Is anybody else surprised that people actually pay for that thing, having heard the sound samples on his site?

I thought it sounded mis-biased. I don't get it.

I don't get a whole lot of the stuff people buy. Some people are just really into that mis-biased sound, I suppose. There are several boutique brands that cater to it, and they all seem to be selling well.

I finally got hold of a multimeter that measures capacitance and measured that last electrolytic capacitor, it came out to 50.6uF so I presume that's a 47uF capacitor.

In the COT50 schematic, there is a 47uF capacitor and a 330R resistor, in the Carb the pair is 47uF and 3k3. Can anyone more knowledgable tell me what difference this makes to the sound of the circuit?
