Better to control start frequency point from note strength - not easy. Others are trying to do this.

.....foot pedal is very useful for this(and footswith disengaging triggering)......

so ive started with this project,
etched the main pcb, the potboard one is to big for my etch can :(
anyway ive wanted to resize it because im gonna use regular pots instead of sliders.
when done im gonna share it, maybe i could get the original layout files borislav for easy edit?
so i wanna make my build with bass/guitar version into one box, i went over the layout using schematic to find the components which differ.
ive marked em, and also found a possible error on the main pcb in the smooth filter between c9/c8 theres a 22k resistor which i believe should be 2k2 (R21 in the schematic) if im not reading the schematic wrong up with the schematic.

borislav can you confirm this?

Congratulations, Boris!!! :applause:

This really shocked me, must say! Svaka ti čast. I've read loads of informations about the design, problems with finding original parts, etc...
anyway, I'm thinking about doing one myself but with some modifications, first to build it in a rack mounting box and trigger it by footswitch.
Ok, that would demand commonly used round pots, which from what I hear aren't so precise :hmmm:
Second, I'm stuck with finding (choosing) the right parts for this projects, so this is what I found out this far:

The 4558's should be easly replaced by some newer op amps, like TL082 or 072 (I don't really know the difference)
The problem is CA3094, some say it's unique, some say LM13700 could be a good substitute, since I'm starting with nothin but schematics, 8-pin or 16-pin makes no difference. Ever thought about any replacements?
Since I have much trouble finding the original parts (discontinued or not, I live in Slovenia), choosing the right parts would be a good starting point before I start drawing my PCB.

Any help will be much appreciated and Boris, I thought I was the only one crazy :slap:

from what I see 13700 is used instead of pair of 3094's. ok, that makes sense.
I don't quite understand everything about pinouts yet :oops:

can you post more detailed pictures of pcb, I would really appreciate it. Maybe I could figure something out...

use 4558 chips ...not TL082.........082 do not work nice ....bad tracking,triggering :thumbsup

here is with foot operated filter....but not so good sounding(I guess camera microphone is not for this uce).....it is muuuch sharper , and better sounding in reality :oops:

Are anybody have lay file for MicroSynth? Lay-file for Sprint-Layout will be best, but in any other (not graphic, but CAD-format) will be good too...

Hi, first, great job in the pcbs and layouts Borislav! :D
Please i need help!, i made one of this amazing pedal, but doesn't work, i have seen on the oscilloscope, the signal path and this is lost in the last stage(attack delay), right in the output, in the last CA3094 there is no signal in the pin1 of the IC A14, maybe because i don't use the 2n5088, i use the BC549, it's a replacement for the 2n5088? i'm not shure, someone knows a replacement? i can't find this transistor in my city.
I have -10V on the pin5 of the CI A14 (CA3094), is that normal? :scratch: , and on the schematics between D10 and D11 says "HIGH ON SILENCE", what does it means? i have too -10V at that point (6), i don't understand what's the problem with the last CI :x . i tried to changing the CIs and still doesn't work.
