Now - since I'm always couple of parts short, this will be 3 long weeks till I get the thing working, all parts ordered, just I need to wait till they arrive

Really great work Pawel- the pcb version of this circuit is far nicer than the vero! First time I've seen it :block:

Marshall really did improve on the built-in-the-back-of-a-shop approach of Sola Sound :D

Anywhere I can get one of these cool boards? 8) 8)

Do I ask this here, in the sola sound MK II thread, or in the DAM 'fleshhead' thread?? :hmmm:

Only the single 0.01uf cap in the Supa Fuzz, at the output before the volume - as in the earliest Sola Sound MK II circuit (on the small MK 1.5 board) I believe and the DAM 'fleshead'.

The 0.01uf cap going to ground at the input of the circuit that was added to the Sola Sound MK II - what's it's intended purpose? To cut down on RFI?

0.01 uF cap forms a low pass filter, it's not for RF rejection! For the last the cap should be in pF range!

Thanks for clearing that up SPeter :block: So it's a treble cut filter effectively. That's interesting then - as there should be a bit of a sound difference between MK IIs and derivatives that have this and those that don't. I need to experiment.

I'm guessing - but using 10uf electros in the Supa Fuzz should let through even more low frequencies than the 4.7uf electros in the Sola Sound MK II. Therefore you would want to do away with any treble cut filter - or the sound could be too dark?

Anyone Know the make and voltage values of the components in the original?

Just got 3 oc75 though and fancy an Anal retentive MOJO build.

Depends on what you want the original to be. The very first 'Supa Fuzz' was actually in the MK1 family. Are you shooting for the pcb version?

Off the top of my head the resistors were either Ipher/Iskra's rating from 1/2W to 1W. Electro's we're either Phillips, Lemco and some others. Ceramic Cap was Lemco and the .1uF cap was a Mustard.

Oh, awesome :applause:
This is the first OC81D Supa that I've ever seen. But no other surprises. Just a bog standard OC81D Tone Bender. Just like the Vox MKII on fuzzcentral:

They even have a correct schmatic:

What does it sound like?
Any measurements?

Hey, I was sure he's shitting me with the oc81d's in it... till he sent me these picts... No measurements as it's not mine yet, long hard road in front of me to have it, but I WILL have it. He says it sounds bit gated when he rolls the fuzz knob down a bit, but it kills little cute animals and old weak people when he's cranking it up.

I got one more pict
