Very cool, but I guess you'd need their kit to make the mechanical part, right? I'm guessing that's not available anymore. Though I can drill my own PCBs, this would be pretty cool if somewhat affordable. Then, if only I could then build a fast pick and place machine, I'd never have to lift a finger!

Yeah, that Elektor kit looks great, although I would already be very happy with a description to make a manual PCB drill. I have seen some around, but those make use of a pneumatic drill head. A very stable pillar drill like structure to hold a Dremel would suffice, I think.
