anyone interested in some pictures? I've got one unit to repare at the table.
It looks like 2 Big Muff units, separately in one box:

- Q1&Q4 are 2N3904
- Q2&Q3 are Ge (Czech Tesla 103NU71 pair and RCA 2N1302 pair )
- clipping diodes are LED
- 10 Panasonic low voltage + 4 ceramic and 1 electrolyte (filter) cap
- metalic resistors

i'd like to see it. i've been thinking of making a Ge muff one of these days and would like to see what he did. i know some people have questions about the tone control as well.

Hehe, he's got the input and output terminals on PCB just about 4mm from each other and all input and output wires (2x2) fastened together at 3 spots. The thing oscillates like hell when you turn the tone control al the way up. I have to rewire it completely. I wander if this boutiqueer has ever heard bout oscillations :)

Yeah, the Durham Crazy horse has the input and output jacks right next to each other and the in/out leads wrapped together for a few inches going to the jacks. No wonder it oscillates!
Silly rabbit!

Jaime actually does really good work on every pedal of his I have owned. My hoof doesn't have any issues at all. Pics?

Also there is a trouble with the channel switching(the left unit). There is apparently a wire broken, cold joint or maybe the
foam-tape that isolates the pots from PCB is too thin (about 1mm under the tone pot).
I am nor sure where the problem really is, the sound drops whenever i touch any wire or PCB or knock on the case.
I have to rewire it completely.

Rewired, repaired [smilie=banana.gif] He uses a foam tape to isolate pots from the PCB. The leg-tips poking from the PCB underneath the pots went through the tape and shorted the circuit.

Apart from the wiring i wanna say that the circuit sounds beautiful. Really a nice sounding Ge Big Muff - thumb up for that sound .
