Awesome Sinner
Nice work, I'm sure alot of people will appreciate that.
And I hate to ask it so soon after you've made the layout... but as there are no board dimensions shown will it fit into a 1590B? If you know that is, i'm not too clued up on board sizing.

No problem dude, it's my pleasure
Fuck the board dimensions, just down resize it till transistors will fit right.
I would like past huge thank you to Dirk_Hendrik for "Reworking PCB Photo" tutorial.. After read it PCB making from picts is just so easy cake!

Hey Guys, im at the stage where i want to print this layout onto acetate, and im using Paint on a PC.
When i shrink the image down to the approximate size i want to try, all of the definition and quality has gone.
How do you guys go about printing out layouts like these at the correct size? and what programs do you use?
Thanks very much
Tom

If you're using windows xp, you can shrink it a bit using windows resizer it's still quite a bit large, but that's what I have after, I think you can easy size it down in infranview without loosing much of quality

What format did you make the file in? I can size it and pdf it to avoid confusion. A vector format would be gnarly.

Thanks very much for the replies!
I used 'irfanview' and got it down to the size i would like, with a HELL of a lot more quality!
It would be very cool to somehow get the dimensions of the original board though.
Perhaps someone who has one of the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix silicon pedals could give the dimensions on the board?

Well, i found from a datasheet that the to-92 can has a height dimension of 4.58mm
i then took a picture on my harddrive of a fuzz face circuit board, and armed with a peice of paper with a mark on it, got an estimate for the length of the board. The transistor isnt flush for the picture, so the measurements should be maybe a bit large.
But i came up with around 34.35mm and 53mm so i would say that the original board would be around 35mm x 50mm, and that shouldn't be THAT far off, but im sure someone with an actual fuzz face could give a more accurate measurement
Now all i need to do is find a simular round metal enclosure, anyone?

Smart guy
There was some round enclosures, but I lost the track. I think I gonna make one soon, but I will stay with pedalenclosures.com. This finish should be available soon, it looks right for it

Plus something extra mojo!
I thing it was posted somewhere, but I've made some movement on my PB account and its gone, so here is again. Its marked as >layout was draw by audioclone< this is me, my other nick name, hope its works and you like it
EDIT:
Shit, now I see it contains some mistakes! electrolytic are orientated to use NEGATIVE ground, and that should be with classic style germanium unit

I'm new in making pedals (Zen drive, Lovepedal Eternity,Tube Screamer, Tone Bender MK II). Sorry if i'm wrong, but BC108 and BC109 aren't NPN transistors (negative ground)? In these layout isn't they working as PNP transistors. Is that wright?sinner wrote:Silicon Version
