Adding an effects loop to a Sovtek Mig 50

I've wanted a Sovtek for a while and finally picked one up with a master volume mod. The 2 channels are cascaded into one and the 2 channel's volumes act as gain. I love the sound Chavez gets with only a Mig 50 and a MXR distortion to boost. So huge and tubey. You should czech 'em out:

Anyways I was wondering, is it feasible to add an effects loop to these guys?
Here's a schematic that I can only assume is correct!

Thanks folks.

yes it could be done but your going to need some impedance matching and gain buffering. check out soldano schematics

Thanks.
So if you were using an amp with no effects loop, and you wanted to use the amp's gain, what options would I have to run time based effects after the amp's gain (besides a mod)?
Could the THD Hotplate do this? Running the effects in it's Line Out.

I have one of these for almost a year now, and never felt the need for an effects loop. The main reason i love this thing is its hunger for pedals, it loves em all in all shapes and sizes. I cranked it fully once for the need of a metal sound, (i refused to use an engl powerball since it's really crap in studio situations), but this wasnt very usefull. With my own band i use the amp at 12 o clock and together with the 2 other guitarplayers it's 'a little loud', at 3 o clock it's on the edge of crunching. Added a HBE paradrive and i had my sound. At this point the amp is stil clean enough to handle a delay or phaser, perhaps you could use this setting and take out some tubes in the last part of the amp?
(For the record i've never opened it so i have no idea what it looks like on the inside, i would advise to jsut use pedals with this amp since it's simply made for it!)
Regards,
Max

There's a few different options you have with delays. Pretty much all delays today have a dry output. One thing you can do is send the dry output to your Mig 50 and send the wet output to a satellite amp. The satellite can probably be smaller and lower wattage, and clean or dirty, depending on the overall effect you want. It does require a separate amp, but it is one way of getting a clean delay without requiring mods.
And if you don't have a dry output on your time-based box, you can use an A/B splitter instead and put the pedal on the side going to the satellite amp.
Using a line-out from a load box is another idea, again that will require another amp to amplify the effected signal.
Edit: Wow... Just realized this thread was couple years old, sorry about that...
