Creating pics showing both trackside AND components...

Hi guys, I need a help from someone who is familiar witch photo editing.

I need to have two picts in one file like Lolbou did in this tread https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic ... 745#p87745 but with Bajaman's Trembulator files https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic ... rembulator

I need it to draw Trembulator on turretbords, quick layout preview will help me a lot

I've ask Lolbou for this, but he have newborn baby boy, and I'm sure he have better things to do now

Sorry for the delay Pawel, 'was at work this morning!

My wife's managed baby Marin instead...

Oh by the way, Inkscape or Gimp does this nicely and are both free and run on Windows or Linux (and even Mac for Gimp).

The method is:

1. Create layer (ex: "PCB")
2. Import PCB pic.
3. Create layer (ex: "Components")
4. Import Component pic.
5. Adjust/Resize/Flip pic if necessary to match the first one.
6. Set Layer Opacity 'til it's convenient for you...

I move the topic to software and edit the title, ok?

I just find out, that the guy who suppose to change me in work tomorrow morning is off sick, and I have to stay at work... That's cool! Plenty of time to finish this tremolo. Not much time at home, as I have a baby boy myself

Pixelmator is another free alternative for Mac users.

Thanks fellas for the kind words.

Maybe this thread is not about picture browsers but I must recommend one, small, fast, FREE, loads of tools and options, supporting almost all graphical formats. Linux version included but it would be most beneficial for Windows users.
I use it for almost 10 years and it's unbeatable comparing to some commercial software like ACDSee.
I do a lot cropping, resizing, batch and twain functions also included and very precise with particular settings etc etc.
Might be very helpful before using Photoshop or other bitmap editors.

photofiltre (the free version) is another way to do this.. similarly, just reduce the opacity/transparency of the paste as desired
