stumbled on this and don't think it's been posted before - a DAM pedal for the Japanese market only... lots of yen...

http://www.effectsdatabase.com/model/dam/headbuzz

Prob not of interest to most as a YAFF - if not a complete replica of the Fuzz Face... (2 transistors - silicon in one BC108B, ge NKT 275s in the other); 3 caps - one 2.2uf input; 4 resistors (never sure of the colours on these carbon ones - seem to have 33k; 80K?... others I can't work out... is the band blue, purple, gold, grey or what! :|

Prob nothing interesting - unless there some slight differences here to what you get in standard fuzz face.

Thanks johhnyg

I'll save some more info and pics here for posterity:

•This pedal is a custom order by a music store in Tokyo, Japan: Hoochies. There are two kinds of "Head Buzz":

◦One "Head Buzz/1966 Arbiter Fuzz Face Replica with NOS NKT275 Germanium transistors
◦One "Head Buzz/1968 Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face Replica with military specs BC108B Silicon transistors
10 pedals were made, 5 of each kind, but it's possible more pedals will be made in the future.

Where can you get those little wire clips that seem to attach to the sides of the box, see pictures above of the insides of the Head Buzz?

They're cable ties like this:

They sell them at a lot of places here: DIY stores, computer stores,...

OK, but those in the picture looked like they were affixed to the side of the box somehow. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting what I see. Or maybe they are just cable ties tacked on with a little hot glue or something?

As DiscoFreq says, they're just cable ties... sure you're not thinking of a different DAM build? ...like this one:

http://www.effectsdatabase.com/model/dam/1966

That has some kind of stick on clip things at the sides... seen these used in a few pics of the inside of DAM pedals - like the TB MK II. I have seen these clips for sale somewhere... by accident though and I can't remember where! Maybe Ebay or Banzai - shouldn't be hard to find.

Just another batch of fuzz faces but I must say they're sexier then a lot of shit on the market.

Resistor values are basically the same as the original Germ and Sili models. (Germ - 33K, 100K, 8K2, 470R) (Sili - 33K, 100K, 6K8, 330R)

The Styroflex cap is 470nF (470000pico) not the 10000pF I've listed in my drawning... In one of the picts in this tread we clearly see 474 code on the cap... My bad  I'm a shit

The 474 is just a manufacturer code. You can still clearly see the 10000J marking above it which clarifies .01uF with a 5% tolerance. :thumbsup
