Canada Post really sucks! :x Still no sign of my boards/components. That's typical, though. My grandmother sent our boys some valentines cards on the same day, but they arrived almost 2 weeks apart from each other

Haven't got mine yet either, they'll come. Maybe customs or the RCMP is investigating to make sure they're safe. Our tax dollars at work.

Excellent Bean!

Pay close attention to the random cap/resistor locations. They make perfect sense on the schematic, but, if you do a board populating marathon* human error might creep in. In my defense I only swapped around R1 in the R2 slot (glad I caught early). When my mod boards arrive I'm going to crank this bad boy out.

*I also populated following boards: Blue Box, Neo Vibe, Dr.Watt, a Foxx Tone Machine, and two 12 position rotary switches for a frequency booster.

Yeah, it's a bit of a hodge-podge to get all that stuff on there. Hopefully, the layout flow isn't too frustrating. The silk screen does help a lot. Fortunately, most of the resistors are 10k! And I have about 5000 of those :)

got them when i got back from tour a few days ago. beautiful!
also, madbean, what width/clearance did you use between traces? (that is, the space between trace and ground pour)

Traces are 16 mil, and that's the minimum spacing I used between traces, I believe. There may be a couple of spots where a trace is a bit closer than that to a pad. IIRC, the manufacturers minimum is 8mils and I got nowhere near that.

Ground pour also has 16mil thermals. I might have bumped the 9v rail to 24mil. I remember reading that it's good to have your power rails as wide as possible, although I don't recall the exact reason now.
