I've just had delivery of some bits and pieces I ordered and the seller put some FD100 diodes in with the shipment as a freebie. Anyone know what these are? I'm struggling to find a datasheet. Also does anyone have a datasheet for ME4003 transistors?

From datasheetarchive.
Code: Select all
ME4003
Si NPN Lo-Pwr BJT
Micro Electronics
V(BR)CEO (V)=25
V(BR)CBO (V)=30
Absolute Max. Power Diss. (W)=250m
I(CBO) Max. (A)=50n
h(FE) Min. Static Current Gain=300
@I(C) (A) (Test Condition)=1.0m
@V(CE) (V) (Test Condition)=10
f(T) Min. (Hz) Transition Freq=60M
C(obo) (Max) (F)=3.0p
Status=Discontinued
Package=TO-106
Military=N
Nothing on the FD100 though. Can't it be obsolete now? I've read a line on the intyernet saying "the first planar diode FD100 was realeased in 1960"... A rectifier diode most probably...

Thanks Laurent. Yes the FD100 could well be obsolete by the looks of it, I'm just curious as to what it is.

Why can't they give Ge obsolete instead as gifts?!
