I have PCBs for a 4 knob Rat. The 4th knob is the Ruetz (aka Lube) control.

Fits in a 1590B

For Ruetz control use a B500R or B1K pot, or replace it with a 47R resistor to make a standard rat.
Based on Analogguru's schematic (http://analogguru.an.ohost.de/193/schem ... t-1986.gif).
There is space to experiment with clipping diodes. Red LEDs give more distortion.
