Here's what I end up doing when I want to tweak something while I play guitar (not for neighbors between 1 and 7 AM ):

Fuzz Face with Germanium 2N1305 vintage T's (but sockets allow anything) and the Orange Squeezer, SMD relay true bypass on power off. FF accepts anything from standard resistors to Y-axis trimpots.

I'll dig up the etching layout if anybody wants it.
