Yeah I've got 50 in the same sort of gain range and with the same sort of leakage and I'm still not sure what to do with them either! :D
Out of the 50, 22 have less than 0.6mA of leakage and only 9 have less than 0.5mA. I've had similar results from a number of other NPN germaniums as well so I've pretty much come to the conclusion that they're all crap!

I'm probably going to end up picking the best ones and making a few of the classics in NPN versions and with the higher leakage ones I'll probably make 28 germanium buffers or something! :slap: They should come in handy :roll:

The ToneBender MkII & Mosrite Fuzzrite both like a bit of leakage so some NPN versions of them could be good.

they work fine in tonebenders, buzzarounds, etc. don't be too scared of the leakage.
