Hello all, I'm about to get under way with my first stompbox project here. It's the MXR envelope filter from tonepad (http://tonepad.com/project.asp?id=4) (Yes, a bit challenging for a first, but I dream big). Right now I'm trying to plan out the wiring of the power jack and the dpdt. I'm trying to do the millennium bypass listed as offboard wiring #3 on tonepad (http://tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=76) so that I can get true bypass with a status led too. Just to be sure, the millennium bypass is a true bypass right? Anyway, the diagram shows stuff connecting to the input jack, input ring, and input shield. My jacks only have two terminals, plus the clip which I assume just holds the tip in place. I'm not sure if that's because these are mono and maybe their diagram refers to a stereo jack, but can I just assume that the input ring and input shield go to the same place and simply connect both of those wires to my jack's input ring? Also, with regard to the dpdt, (I have the alpha dpdt from smallbear), mine is just labeled with 1 2 3 on one side of it. Does it actually matter how this is oriented in relation to the wiring diagram? Finally, I'm confused about how to wire the dc adapter I got. I bought F from this page:
http://mouser.com/catalog/catalogUSD/641/1129.pdf
Schematic here:

I assume that terminal 3 is the grey connection on the tonepad diagram, but the schematic symbol shown on the product page is confusing. What is the angled line(1) in relation to the straight one(2)? Are 1 and 2 interchangeable as far as which one goes to the battery clip and which goes to the board?

So sorry for the ridiculously long post, but if anyone takes the time to read it and help me out, I'd be extremely grateful.
Thanks in advance.

yup millennium is TRUE bypass.

compare the wiring of the GGG mods. I tried this and my reverse sweep won't work. It works in normal operation. I just can't seem to cross the bridge as my old high school math teacher who was really a gym teacher used to always say. Once I understand this simple reverse sweep mod I feel like I will really smack my forehead hard.
