I'm planning on making a Zendrive copy and have some question about the AD712. I looked around and found some on Jameco and Digikey but don't know which one to get since there are several different suffixes for each. Here is some of them and I'll link to the sites as well.

AD712JNZ
AD712JR
AD712KNZ

Here are the links.

Thanks for the help!

My friend, the first place to look for info on solid state parts is their data sheet which is usually readily obtainable by using you favorite search engine. The Analog Devices datasheet on the AD712 describes the part suffixes as follows:

AD712JNZ 0 - 70 deg C, Lead free, plastic 8-pin dip package
AD712JR 0 - 70 deg C, SOIC_N package
AD712KNZ 0 - 70 deg C, Lead free, plastic 8-pin dip package

Looks like the AD712KNZ part has slightly better input offset voltage and matching characteristics specs compared to the AD712JNZ. Link to datasheet is:

Anyway, the OPA2604 sounds a lot better in the Zendrive, give it a try! (I built both versions)
