ooo man mister Dirk....if you (anf fiew others) can't help me ......than
but can someone explain how circuit for erasing works......there is oscilator and little trafo.....so it is multivibrator ecc82 creating sound that is inaudible....and that is how tape is erased?
http://www.schematicheaven.com/effects/ ... _ng-51.pdf
writing heads were replaced with some strange little ones...and I could not measure them with ohmmeter....I've opened one ,and it was isolated with little plastic part from input cable...
help please
I could find heads from some old magnetophons????....or modern tape recorders?
thanks
Boris

Information
The erase oszillator normally runs on 100 kHz, so it is inaudible.
A part of this 100 kHz signal is also used to "bias" the tape (to reduce distortion).

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.
