Not my most favourite phaser. Distorts too much and warm can also be considered "lack of highs". Check the maxon PT schem on my site to find out how the maxon guys inproved this design (a lot).
and again I wonder how it is possible that effects and mixing consoles always start to sound warmer as their age increases

Carefull Modman! I would have posted that link if it would apply to the bypass scheme;)
Where the Maxon and the Iba have almost the same phasing "engine" that does not apply to the bypass. In the Iba the phased (delayed) signal is passively mixed with the dry signal. Bypass is done by breaking the connection to the delayed signal.

Small error corrected; R30 was 24k
