Hey.
I am very new (but very enthusiastic) to modding/creating pedals and am wondering what I should buy. I have very little knowledge and while reading the forums most of the techniques/items mentioned were meaningless to me. So I plead for your help. What should I look for in a soldering iron, solder, flux (I don't really know if I need this), stuff for desoldering, stuff for resoldering, breadboards, and any other necessity which I have neglected.
Thanks for your help, it is very much appreciated.

Tool list and explanation : http://www.ladyada.net/library/equipt/
Everything you need for stompbox prototyping : http://beavisaudio.com/bboard/
(a bit expensive because of the complete parts stash, but you could build the board yourself, all the documentation is freely available)
A good set of tools : http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=136
Cheap assorted components : http://futurlec.com/ValuePacks.shtml (they have cheap tools and multimeters too)
