Thanks Theeman, I requested a quote, but I'm checking out options.
Have you ordered from greenhill before? Are they reliable?

No experience with them. Just found them in a Google search.

Placed an order with Greenhill. Wasn't cheap, but I guess that's expected with these old chips. Will let you know how the service is and if the chip works.
Cheers

After CAD to GBP exchange plus shipping (4.00 GBP), total was $54.00 Canadian for one chip. Ouch.

Holy shit! Can you cancel your order?
If so, I'll beat their price.

Nothing like cuddling up to a spiky overpriced, obsolete little ic in the middle of those cold Canadian nights.

The Craig Anderton AMS-100 Guitar Synth (see the other thread). I'm particularly excited about the Drum Module. I know it'll probably be cheesy in the end, but you know how once you've got an idea to do something, you're willing to go to some lengths to do it (like pay too much $).
Thanks again.

Hah, I missed that thread. A very cool project!
Except the rhythm part will probably be uber cheesy!
