component values for this build are unchanged from the schematic .... only change : pin 7 is tied to +V .... the soundclip is guitar into effect into line6 amp simulation software w/ a touch of reverb .... i'm really impressed with the rhythm channel sounds this circuit can give you .... very amp-like to my ears .... compared to Craig Anderton's Tube Sound Fuzz ...

the 4049 is certainly a versatile little chipster :applause:

Thank you for the clip.

I didn't hear much depth to the tone on it though... were you just not playing the E or A strings?
Resistance is futile...
( if < 1 ohm )
