Hi,

have to find a replacement part for a 2N4354 to repair an old electric mistress. i'm in Europe and can't find it in my usual shop :musikding or banzai. which other (another reference) transistor could replace it fine?

I just checked in my World Transistor Comparison Table book,and these transistors listed below are equivalent to a 2N4354....

Actual pinouts may vary.....

You may even be able to use one of these Transistors too.....

If you search from your own ebay you'll find the same item in stock in their UK store for only £1.50 plus shipping.

Specs for the 2N4354:


Vce= 60V

Ice= 0.5A

Max Power Dissipation= 0.35 Watts




Specs for BC557:


Vce= 50V

Ice= 0.1A


Max Power Dissipation = 0.5Watts

What's the supply Voltage and current in an EH Electric Misstress?.....

Hang on a sec,the closest equivalent to a 2N4354 that I can find in my Transistor Data Books happens to be a 2N2906,and Jaycar Electronics happens to stock them,if he wants me to,i can buy some for him and mail them to him,free of charge,I will pay the postage fees myself....

Jaycar Electronics also stock the 2N2907 which should also work in place of a 2N4354.....

Pricing: For 1+ =$1.95,for 10 + = $1.75,for 25+ =$1.35

that's a bit steep for a single 2907. I wouldn't pay that price.

I wonder if he is still after a 2N4354 or replacement part?,or if he has fixed his EH Electric Mistress?.....
