The price of knobs is destroying my calm. The expense of knobs is higher than my 1590bb boxes on some builds. :slap:

Does anyone have a good source for decent knobs. I would love to buy pro quality knobs for less than $1 US each.

I ordered some plastic knobs from futurlec. They are terrible quality and I will not be using them on pedals. The price was good, but They were not level or exactly round even. Mouser knobs are expensive.

Can someone offer suggestions for a source from whom we all can buy quality knobs for a low price?

I bought 30 x MXR type knobs from hongkongsuperseller on eBay for £16 including postage which wasn't too bad, and they have other styles as well. I agree that the price from some sellers is ridiculous.

My main source for knobs was always Small Bear, wide range, reasonable prices (compared to some here in Europe)

Have you tried these aluminium knobs from Futurlec: http://www.futurlec.com/Switches/KNOB3.shtml ? Just $0.70 a piece.

Here's three on my OCD clone:

i've used two variants of those, which differs only on the set screw: one is standard screw and other is hexagonal "hole" (a pita, i must say)

they are quite rough, and not a consistent finnish one from another. Also they get dirty and oxydized pretty fast (if not already from the shop)
From futurlec i prefer the plastic push-on knobs as a cheap stock, better looking than the alum.
